Subs, what will fill in my sound the best?

debulebule, May 25, 12:06pm
After overhauling the headunit, front and rear speakers. I find my car lacking in the low end. I've been looking at putting a couple of 10inch shallow mounts in the boot. Because i still need the trunk space. Good idea! Or waste of time using shallow subs! Any help appreciated.

I had a nice Pioneer 12 inch flat facing. so the angled edge goes to the seat and the sub sits flat (rather than on an angle) facing the boot. I was able to fit 3 large luggage bags, 3 carry on bags and 3 laptop bags in the boot. saved heaps of room and sounded really good. great reaction time and you only need one rather than 2 10's

Haha my mate had a 1988 Honda City. 2 tweeters, 6" speakers on his doors, 10" subs on his door, 6x9's in the back and two 12" subs in the back. He needed another battery cos the car couldn't power it all haha but he got a nice rounded sound! Even the 10" subs on his door sounded alright actually!
