have a navigation device in my car sony xyz7f hdd which is in japenese is there some way i can change the language to english

I can pretty much say from my experience with Toyotas and Subarus that nope cannot be done

My car has the same system, I had a japanese chick at my work have a look at it to see if it had an english language setting but it does'nt!

and even if you could get her speaking NZ, it still won't get around the issue of I'm really, definitely, damm sure I'm not actually driving across Tokyo city at this time ( no NZ maps exist for those units)
