paulap, May 21, 9:47am
Buys a car. Won't tell me anything about it. Other than, you will like it. I know it is probably a muscle car but other than that I have no idea. And they say women like to play games.bet if I ply him with enough beers he will spill the beans

thejazzpianoma, May 21, 9:53am
We can't win, the women folk are always on about wanting "surprises", yet give them one and they complain.

paulap, May 21, 9:54am
LOL.as my first car was 40 years old I don't think cup holders quite do it for me.

paulap, May 21, 9:58am
lol it's a treat for him not me.he just won't tell me what it is.

thejazzpianoma, May 21, 10:02am
Probably just a funny co-incidence but I just checked over a Multipla for a guy in Franklin.

paulap, May 21, 10:05am
Thankfully I know where it has been purchased so am safe on that one.lmao

thejazzpianoma, May 21, 10:07am
I like how you were worried enough to check where I am from.

paulap, May 21, 10:10am
I think I know what car it is which is why I am thinking so hard and why I am kicking myself for not remembering any more than the colour of it.lol

cjohnw, May 21, 10:10am
It can't be a Multipla because he said "you will like it", NOT "you will spew!"

paulap, May 21, 10:14am
I just looked them up.they are shite aren't they

hounddog2, May 21, 11:48am

They sometimes get a ( damn well deserved) surprise like one I saw the other day that I was following for a wee way, man talk about erratic driving,I had no show of overtaking her at all and wasn't going to run the risk actually even though she was doing way below the limit before coming into a town I was stopping in to pick up some gear from a shop.
Silly bitch was primping her hair, putting on lipstick and generally fluffing around for ages and no doub't had only one hand on the wheel for a good bit of that time, let alone whatever eye sight on the road for a fair amount of the time also!
Funny thing was a cop was following me and obviously could see some of what was going on ahead of me, then flashed his lights behind me .I slowed a bit and the cop flashed by and pulled this stupid woman over, probably 100mtrs ahead considering I slowed to let him pass me!
Craziest thing of all was she was on a cell phone for gods sake when the cop pulled her over, she was still yakking on it when he was standing by her car and the cops "book" came out straight away, no wonder.
I pulled up just behind the 2 cars as I was going to a shop nearby and I heard him reading her the riot act and she was foul mouthed into the bargin, she wasn't doing anything wrong etc! flamming heck she was guilty as sin.
I couldn't believe while walking back from the shop and this was at least 5minutes or more later on too, the torrent of language I heard was plain straight out disgusting, I'll bet she got charged with more than she expected and damn good luck if she did.
Serves her damn well right, strewth some folks think they are completely above the law and "think their do do's don't stink!"

taipan4, May 21, 3:56pm
Chch press article this week said that cell phone use was back to where it was before the law change, so it has made No difference Personally if my phone rings while driving I will not answer it,

ema1, May 21, 3:59pm
I switch my phone off before driving and have a prearranged time to stop and switch it on for any messages or usage, only time I leave it on and using it is if my wife is with me and she answers it while I'm driving.

thejazzpianoma, May 21, 4:51pm
Its not just women ema1, watch out for Fiat drivers, they are often distracted.

i think i have one of those rolling around in my glovebox

sw20, May 21, 6:29pm
There is no way in real life that would happen jazz.

You know as well as I do that a MGF couldn't pull a skid if it tried.

ema1, May 21, 8:52pm
Yea I realize that jazz but I was just commenting on one daft/dangerous piece of driving that the crazy woman I encountered got a surprise when she got pulled over and wasn't admitting to anything shed done wrong even though it was blatantly obvious.didn't stop her complaining, she just went on & on with foul language making up a big % of the speeeel!
Typical.but men can and often are just as crazy and can be more dangerous in lots of cases.
This fiddling around with the hair and applying lipstick etc etc .well there's a place to do that and in the car while driving ain't it .period.
Hey that link was priceless jazz thanks for putting it up mate!
Case of who's got the bigger .errrrrm "tool".!
The dude driving the Panda was one lucky bugger eh!

paulap, May 23, 2:53pm
