Speedo always satys at 60kmh, Guessing its the cluster and i need a new one! also sometimes the starter motor will half turnover then stop and sometimes do nothing! Guess it would be the starter motor! Thanks

Is it only the speedo! Or is the odometer not working either! Get you battery checked first.including connections/terminals. Starter motor failure is pretty common on SR powered vehicles but always start with the basics first. Could be starter motor pinion or ring gear.but check the above first.

odometer works and clocks up ks but just the speedo dosnt

was having a similar problem with a pathfinder wereby the needle wouldnt go over 80ks and the rev counter over 3k.took it for a GOOD long trip the other week from pukekohe right out onehunga and back and now is fine again think it might just be getting old and tired.take it for a good run sounds like battery needs a gd run also

nothing to do with battery, i have had an amp load test thing done on it, i know nissans arnt the best for starter motors, had a quick look for it but cudnt see it, looks like may have to get to it from underneath

sweet as pretty sure its the starter motor, and ill try replacing the cluster, everything else works on it just not speedo
Well i could try heating and freezing it a few times, have nothing toloose as it dosnt work anyway

speed sensor ,get another one and try that nissan startermotors, eat brushes,,or clog up with the old brush dust, get a second hand one /rebuild your old one/ brand new one too, very cheap up north google for nissan bluebird parts,nz

Also forgot to mention, if i rock it in park a it can get it to start,
