snap on is not designed for the new zealand market keep that in mind. My recommendation would be hanatech if you want a back up to that then use the bosch The reason I say hanatech dcn pro is you kill two birds with one stone as built in is a 4 channel scope ya cant diagnose a sensor accurately with out a scope Also designed for NZ updates are free via internet and are weekly also a good price $5000 try and buy just a 4 channel scope for that. Backed up by the bosch kts 650 with a breakout box laptop and alldata their will be no problem you cannot overcome

We have both snap on solars and modis at work they sit there and collect dust because they are so useless imo and workmates

get a hannatech but not the multiscan with scope as the refresh on the scope is so slow, what you save on not getting it go out and get a vantage pro scope as it has loads of info on it also, i have a hannatech, bosch and DEC, dont get a bosch they are hopeless

We have a Hanatech, Launch, snap on (solars) a pain to use, and bosch, will always pick up the hanatech first easy to use and works on most vehicles

i do agree with you bigfatmat1 that alldata is probably the best info you can buy. i have 10.40on harddrive. if you can read between the lines there

i feel the kts will do more stuff on the cars it does do and you can trust its data/codes, i feel the hannatech has the best coverage although lacks programming and actuator information,

no I don't actually I use my own scope which is a fluke 124.
another good function of the hanatech is its multiplexing ability so no pissing round with cards/keys The bosch is handy on the odd ball cars due to its brake out box abilty and diagnostic plug pin data for accessing manafacture specific systems that the hanatech doesnt do and you dont have a plug for

Thanks guys, I currently have/have access to an old OTC badged Hanatech, a Carman, a Memoscan, a Snap-on MT series, GM Tech 1&2, a scope, a test light and analogue multi-meter. As others have said the Hanatech is by far the best, it??

We had the old snap on solars and have up graded to a hannatech with scope. Best thing we ever done. So much more usfuel and better range of vehicles.
