Do the camera vans still use the auto patrol pr100 camera in the mobile vans! I got flashed by a van today when i was about 3-4 times the "usual" distance from it. i thought they had to be set up at 22.5 degrees from the road!

I don't know technical details/model numbers etc.but I think they did upgrade the cameras a shortish while ago.The resolution improved and the radar band changed, and they are now harder to detect.They also do seem to work from further away and from different angles.

i don't know what the camera's are but they have started to use people movers not vans

PR-100NZ Autopatrol (film) is the old one (still in use in the vans). The newer one mounted in the people movers (Toyota Previas IIRC) is the 'REDFLEX radarcam' which is digital.
