There are a number of auto sparkies in invers so I think you should drop in and explain whats happening. They will no doubt give you a direct and informative answer. I know some of the guys at dominion auto, stop in there they will be of help and friendly bunch.

Maybe the flux capacitor has just fallen out of its holder and has leaked because the vent hole is no longer at the highest point. If it is a Multipla, Jazz will be able to tell you exactly where it is located.
