Looking to buy a reconditioned 15metre cherry picker. Need one with a 5 year cert as we have osh on our backs. I have found one for sale and google only really brings up hire companies or just places with Boom trucks.

there is a place in hastings that sell and service them on the west side of the town passed the hospital same side of the road.someone from up there may help you think thay may be called hydro ladders

go to a local service station and they should stock the commercial vehicle auto trader type magazine.not sure about hamilton but kent valley in tauranga do those from memory.

Why dont you look at an X Hirepool one as they are usually well maintained , & send it through for another 10yr cert.! Might be less hassle. Just a thought, you've probably already had.

Yeah mate we currently own a 15 metre snorkel cherry picker. Can only get a 10 year from new then 5 years certs from then on. Pain in the ass. Down time will be to long. Would have to hire during that time and would easily piss 2k in hire costs. Ours will cost 10-14k to cert depending on what needs doing. Dewtec want 18k for theres new paint totally reconded and brand new 5 year cert. They will also trade ours which is pretty much worthless thanks to cert running out

we need to own it really so we can use, do what we need plus it will be good for our business to write a lump sum off. We will be signwriting it up etc and dont want the hassle of leasing. Nothing like owning the stuff you work with. You dont take it for granted etc if ya know what I mean. In the long run I think it will be better owning. Osh caught us using our one when cert had just expired. They are on us like the plauge 10k fines etc.
