Hoping for a storewide special soon just to get those few extra bucks off a product I want but dont need until 3 or 4 months time. Anyone know if they have one at the moment! Or someone in the know, know if there will be one in the near future!
Im guessing in June there will be a queens birthday weekend sale which may have a storewide sale.

They are going to be clearing like 10 million dollars worth of old stock and the managers instructions are to be "open to negotiation"
Insider knowledge, I know a couple people in management :) Only on things they want to get rid of mind you but there will be some bargains to be had hopefully, if the managers don't just dump the stuff cause they are known for that to.

Looking to get Black and decker impact driver they have for $259, waiting for sale to get it under $249 which mitre 10 mega have it for, then I can go to mitre 10 mega and get 15% off as its same product stocked item etc. Wonder if I could get the trade price quoted on paper and then do the dirty on mitre 10 mega!

May need to check the fine print, I don't think the item can be on sale to get the 15% off, it normally has to be the regular retail price for it to work.

Nah just says excludes trade and special quotes, stock liquidations and commercial quantities.

I got 30L of GTX modern engine last time they had it on special. Must get some more next time too. $20 for 4L is cheap enough, then $10 for a filter from BNT and thats a years servicing for $30. Pretty good

I'll try remember to ask when talking to him next. I've scored like $60 2 year old tomtom GPS units cause of map updates, 4L of metallic hammerfinish paint for $10, some nice seats for $100, $10 9 inch angle grinder, $10 200mm 1200W varible speed rotary sander and polisher combo and countless other things through being in the know. He even sometimes randomly puts stuff on hold for me at my local store so I walk in and they are all "oh and btw this $5 bench vice is here for you" and for a minute it confuses me lol.
A lot of the time it's run out replacement parts for things they don't sell like old model orbital polishers and junk. Othertimes they switch brands and dump old stock which is when I score me so nice new tools :)
