I always found masking tape worked quite well with cuts and things.

you should have got it all washed out then put a verrrry small blob of superglue on it to close it up, I found that it always worked well, and im still only slowly dieing

To stop it bleeding (if you have the time) pressure and height is the trick.

Before you put the masking tape on you should always spray the cut with brakeclean.
That way we know that the wound is clean and if you are a man

Superglue works like stitches, make sure its clean, apply pressure for a bit and then pop a really small drop in and close up the wound flaps.
