must have been in a lot drier shed than the Model A Roadster pickup I found parked in a shed since '73

paull, May 5, 8:25am
haha looks like he cleaned and painted the tyres,a few mnths back i was working on wind farm and there was this old farmer who had a 30,s something coup hanging out the shed door so i asked to have a look and it was a 38 chev, looked just like that ford coup,, i asked did he want to sell it and he said no it had belonged to his dad and they were going to bury it on the farm, i pleaded and groveled like a puppy to get him to sell it but he wasnt gunna move and he said the car had being sitting there for 30yrs and not even his son could have it, it brought back a ton of memories for him and was the last link to his dad, i asked his son and he said hopefully he would just leave it in the shed and when he passes on they will restore it, annoyed me going to work every day seeing that car hanging out the shed like that.o well such is life

All you need to do is copy the link from your address bar at the top. you've already copied/pasted the listing number so highlighting and copying the address bar instead is not harder at all.

Looks one of geniune 46-48 NZ new Coupes - Some I understand were former Police cars here - Registration looks 1972-1973 - Wow this is a find!

If she's a runner and up to w.o.f. spec I'd leave her as she is and just cruzzz.

You might want to re-read what phill said. The opening poster only copied and pasted the auction number. phill suggested he copied and pasted the whole linkso we could be lazy and just click on it ourselves.

That car is beautiful. Nuff said.

goldilocks64, May 6, 5:22am
if you had a look in the inside of the drivers side rear guard the police cars had a big square hole cut out for a slide out battery caseholding two batterys to run all the radios and lights . they where welded up whenthe cars where decomissioned ;-)

neville48, Jan 20, 12:16am
slight correction here, the hole was cut in the panel in front of the rear guard of the business coupes only to access the compartment under the parcel tray that is normally accessed by lifting the front seat up. It housed the weighing gear and accident signs etc that could fit through about a 12" by 6" door.the business coupe [see my for sale advert] is a short door, long back model ,originally with no back seat, this is the model the police used.
