It's nothing to do with trademe. Trademe's message boards are self regulated. (By the posters)
If enough people make a complaint about a poster, an automated warning email is automaticly sent.try it yourselves. Starta thread, then get everyone to vote against a particular post. After exactly 10 votes, the post will be "removed by moderator" and a warning email will be sent. Other than the Dear _ _ _ _ changing, the email is word for word the same .

That's to get it deleted, but it sounds like recently people are getting warnings when the post is still there!

why dont they ask us the users who should be banned.there is dafing who just butts in and insist that we all should know how we should live and what we should do.like a bully interfering with other peoples conversations.hes a real nuisance in farming.there are more.then there are those who promote their listings and web sites.

I think the limit is 20 votes now, its much higher has people were voting threads off for fun. The boards are also not self regulated occasionally trademe search the boards so I'm told from people in general for foul language and contact details etc then act from there. Then trademe act on what they regardless of how it comes to their attention its not self regulated.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
