I have just started a page to try and get a racing channel of some sorts, TV3's coverage is well lets be honest pretty crap. I figure if we get car enthusiasts to like the page the i got to sky tv with it, see if the could start a channel, could have V8s and when they arent racing, replays of old racing, they could have tv coverage of stuff like beach hop and fours and rotary national (not so keen on the fours and rotarys but would cater to wide range of people and ages. what do you reckon, possible or am i flogging a dead horse with this one!

Thank you cowboy, tv3 can still have their free coverage, but there is so much more to see at these huge 3 day events! they could show nzv8s, nzdrags, they could have life storys of people like brocky, possum, to todays drivers, see where they have come from to where they are now. they could have coverage of other events like beach hop, have the beauty pagents (for the men) they could replay old races, they could have doco's about how supercars are made, how it all started a true motorsport fans channel, mainly directed at nz/aussie racing, but could even have nascar and hotrod events from around the world. Car racing is big in nz and if they have a rugby channel why cant they have a channel like this! the possibilities are endless!

we need some channel that does have live covarge not the next day of at midnite even if it isnt 24/7 just to have live racing be good
