They won't let you touch the engine of this plane but being behind the controls would be pretty exciting:
Have you always wanted to know what it would be like to fly a plane, and hang out in the Air Force, ??

You mean we have more than one aircraft in our air force now!
I'll check my "Boy's Own" spotters guide to aircraft of the 50's & 60's and get back to you.

I thought it was the 'Royal New Zealand Air Cargo'! Seems to be all we have now is cargo planes, bar the Orion and Iriquos which seem to be doing S&R for the idiots who get lost in the bush.

And could you tell me whata country of our limited financial means and releative geographical isolation would do with strike fighters! In my opinion transport, SAR and marine patrol aircraft are essentially what we need as a country. The Iroquois are on the way out being replaced with NH-90s anyway. I would prefer a flight in a manouverable airtrainer with a decent pilot at the controls than a large cargo aircraft anyway.
