So! What would you pay!

morrisman1, Apr 27, 1:08pm
I think he is asking too much!

Its bound to fetch more than it is logically worth due to the RWD being like catnip for boyracers even though its not going to even skid on wet grass.

If its rust free and in good nick overall then possibly $1500

crzyhrse, Apr 27, 1:09pm
That's a cool car.

It'll probably fetch $1200-$1500.

phillip.weston, Apr 27, 1:16pm
Hate to break it to you but it's not RWD.

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:17pm
he wants offers over 3000 and its a front wheel drive morris man

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:17pm
lol u just beat me to the enlightening punch. its a series 2 cherry so front wheel drive.

helsbels2, Apr 27, 1:21pm
dont quote me cos dh not here but I know certain models of datsuns are going for mega money cos ministock drivers need them for parts so what was once a cheap donor car is now a expensive hard to find and i know of people paying up to $5000 just so they can get parts for there racecar.

morrisman1, Apr 27, 1:23pm
oh, and here I was thinking it was a datsun 1000. Thanks for the heads up!

morrisman1, Apr 27, 1:26pm
a12 engine is what they are after. Some of them have 'M2' blocks which are apparently stronger. The a13 engine which is like rocking horse crap ive heard is very desirable. Id imagine the a12gx engine parts are also very sought after.

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:26pm
lol. too late quoted!

phillip.weston, Apr 27, 1:27pm
Given that it has been modified already (ie wheels, exhaust), it kind of loses its originality which the value would be attached to. It's not a particularly sought after model either. I would say $1000-2000 would be a more realistic price.

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:27pm
this dosnt have one of those does it!

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:28pm
Thats what i want to pay for it.lol

morrisman1, Apr 27, 1:30pm
nah it has an a10. The only thing I know about the a10 is the pistons have smaller dish and fit the a12, giving higher compression

helsbels2, Apr 27, 1:30pm
told you i might be wrong

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:31pm
Atleast you were right.about being wrong.

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:32pm
I want to buy it but i could get shit tonnes more for 3 grand.

johnf_456, Apr 27, 1:38pm
It is not rwd

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:41pm
Yeah as has been pointed out at least twice by now. but thanks for your true to form inane input.

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:45pm
He seems to think that it is rear wheel drive. I will go take a look but i doubt this guy has any idea about cars and doesn't know how engines work.lol

morrisman1, Apr 27, 1:46pm
He probably read the other posts and decided to point it out too, just to feel included

johnf_456, Apr 27, 1:47pm
Well I have not read the whole thread, geez such a problem pointing something out!

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:47pm
yeah. lame huh!

gilligan2, Apr 27, 1:48pm
You should take the time to read the thread then.

Im not going to get into a shit fight here, I dont really care and would rather stick to the topic at hand. that being what the vehicle in question is worth to the general motoring folk.

johnf_456, Apr 27, 1:49pm
diddums, just thought I'd kind to let morrisman know hes not right.
