Also. a turbo small enough to correctly fit a jet ski is also going to deliver heaps of bandwidth on a car . ************** "DSR330 is bigger than the S13 and S14 Turbo. It comes on full boost by 3000RPM and continuously pulls power right threw to redline The factory S13 and S14 Turbo pulls power from 3000RPM but looses Puff by 5000rpm and just dies out, where the DSR330 will keeps pulling power right threw the Rev Range can be used on a wide range of vehicles such as Jet Ski, GTIR, 4AGE, GSR, Honda, GTR and more" .

I like how his .86 housing turbo pulls from the same rpm as a .64 housing turbo. Yeah right. Its known widely around car circles that the owner is a complete douche who will deny any claim to warrantee no matter what, then make bold claims about no turbos ever failing. Once he has your money he doesnt give a shit, his customer service is non existant.

well my mate had a garrett gt3540 that lasted a hour caus the bearings seized, another mate got a dsr430 on his skyline, hasnt had waterlines for like a year, done skid comps, trackdays etc etc and no problems, still goes well

my cousin got a full kit from him, has some extra (un needed) parts and missing a clamp (that WAS needed). DSR wouldnt even admit he had sent the wrong clamp, said we has messed it up, WTF how did we turn a 3" clamp into a smaller one!. Not really a bolt on kit as it says either, few things needed changing to make it work.

the parts they use right down to the crap material used on the cast housings is just rubbish i would never fit one to any of my vehicles
people spend thousands on aftermarket parts then the item thats going to make all the power, work the hardest and get the hardest time, they buy an ol cheepo item from trademe.
i would love on that auction if they did 3 dyno runs, standered, then a dsr turbo and then a garret equivalant.

Are you sure he was using the right size oil restrictor on the oil line and bled the turbo properly before starting the car
jamzie,

when we started it we cracked the oil feed to the turbo and oil fowed out and had it idling for a while before driving

you should have disconected the ignition so it turns over without starting until it has oil presure throughout the motor and turbo then start it. The turbo would only turn very slowly if at all when cranking but once the car has started and idling it would be spinning at a few hundred rpm with no oil in it until it got oil up the line to the turbo. Those few seconds without oil can cause permanent damage to the bearing
