Who in Hamilton do you recommend is good for repairing allow rims! I have a set of chrome Lowernhart rims which the chrome is coming off (has bad pitting and peeling and some curb damage). I want the chrome stripped off and the curb damage filled in. And might also have them polished rather than rechromed. Recommendations!

guy in cambridge does it, but can't remember the name. I took my rim to Carters opposite BP on cnr greenwood and massey streets and he sent it off to the guy in cambridge.

i have used the cambridge guy to straighten a wheel , excellent job, can't remember his name either but he was in the street behind supercheap i think, also seen these guys advertising http://www.sharrock-engineers.co.nz/index.html

Definately NOT the guys in Cambridge. They returned a pair of wheels to me after being repaired (curb rash) and had machined the outer lips down so thin that they snapped clean off when a tyre was being fitted. Imagine if they'd held together just long enough for the tyre to be on the wheel and been driven on!
