Cleaning Aluminium ideas?

Hi all wanting to clean up the sheet aluminium in my saloon. It is oxidized and stained with clay etc, is there anything that I can use to get it back to looking shiny and newish!

Autosol and lots of elbow grease

Fine wet and dry sandpaper use with water.

Pams oven cleaner, the one that works on a cold oven. Leave it on for 3-5 mins then polish off with scotch brite.

I used to use something at an old work place. I guess it was an acid. Used to spray on with a sprayer and it would almost instantly take the oxide coating off and look like brand new again. No scrubing. Just a hose off.

Shane, On my Saloon i tried a few products, tried Septone Aluminium cleaner from Supercheap and it worked ok but i see they have changed to 3M products now. Another one i tried was a product called Alu-Kleen from Tasman Chemicals in Auckland (basically mag wheel cleaner), Its a chemical so needs to be sprayed on. I gave the Aluminium a good scrub up and let it dry before using this product, certainly removed all the oxidation etc, you just have to play around with the dilution ratio to get one you are happy with, contains phosporous acid so wear protection when you use it. you spray it on, give it 3 or 4 minutes then hose it off.
