i liked it until i saw the interior, should have left that original but i suppose you it was easier to retain the wiring loom and dash from donor car

I agree. I can almost understand the rest of it but the interior looks tacky at best.

More like why wouldn't you!Its not like the original Mustang has a comfortable interior, good performance (standard), handling and steering, or safety!.Something that retains the 60's external style but drives and behaves on the road like a modern one is an unbeatable combo.

He should of left the motor standed for a vin first ! They should not hot up a motor before you get new reg and vin just makes things harder to get ! And over priced for somthing in this state

That's okay, it's not exactly rare.
Troll attempt, hoping for a bite.

I think it might be impossible to vin, and even more impossible to sell.

reminds me of that fast and the furious movie where they ruined that mustang with a nissan engine

People do engine swaps every day

Why not!
You keep the classic lines and the underside of your car is updated from a 1964 Falcoon. Whats not to love about that idea. (The original dash would have been a good idea tho.)
And it will get up those poncy Mustang restorer types so theres lots of WIN to be had.

just cos people do it, doesnt mean its right, like holden powered fords or vice versa. your just asking for trouble.

Used to love my Vauxhall 6cyl powered 52 Morris oxford & my holden powered 68 Vauxhall Victor & the Jag powered transit van we had at the shop
thats a 99 mustang motor! looks old and dirty, could have atleast cleaned it.

dunno could be a can of worms looking at how far out the front wheels are sticking out now, wonder if he used the newer front end with a wider track!if you can get it right with different offset wheels it maybe ok ,don't like the interior either I would have kept that stock, maybe just the newer seats recovered

Hard not to like a 65 fastback Mustang but they were a simple car and that was part of their appeal. Loading it up with all sorts of crap like airbags and ECU doesn't add anything but excess weight. Nothing wrong with the genuine simulated naugahide pony interior either.

I know this car and have watched it being slowly built over the last couple of years.

Just read about a '65 with AU 4.0, turbo, LPG, 700hp atw, 37psi. Street Machine, March '11, HJ on the cover.
Pommie fella a while back cut a turbo silvia from the sills upwards and grafted on a morrie minor body, that would be one hell of a hard case car. Did a decent job of it too, would certainly scare a few folks, catch them out

That has been featured on here and the website was posted. I wonder how far he's got with it.
