Hey Errol. Fixed head gasket and started working sweet but when it got to its cut off point it blew again. I didnt notice what psi it got to but maybe my mate turned it up without me noticing so i will turn it down and see. What you reckon! Blew in the middle again. Maybe my gasket paper is crap! its an abestos type one made by novus.

How thick is the gasket material! you need to check the cut off pressure in case it is too high but if it is the safety valve should operate, check across the web of the cylinder head with a straight edge to make sure it is flat, if not you will be able to reface it with wet and dry sand paper on a flat surface (thick glass is good), you also should torque the head down to ensure it is sitting flat

Ok remade gasket and torqued it up evenly. I turned pressure right down and then slowly would it up. Shuts down perfectly! No more blowing gaskets. Cheers for ya help :)
