Which petrol stations have the highest octane fuels!
I just got my Car back on the road and have to get used to knowing which places to stop at now.

Depends if your car needs it! I use BP98 but as poster above implies, not all BP stations stock it.

The best clean octane is from Gull, their 98 is a boomer. True rating where is most 91's are 87 or worse, hence the pings.

Automotive fuel here is measured as RON, their RON is 91/95/98.
MON numbers are obtained via a different test and are a more accurate method of obtaining an anti-knock value. the MON of our regular gas is about 82, premium is 86 and BP ultimate about 90.
Avgas is measured in MON and has a MON figure of 100 under lean conditions (130 under rich). At an estimate that would give a RON of about 110.

Mobil and BP sell 98 octane.On their websites you can find all stations that stock 98 octane.

gull force 10 is higher than 98 isnt it!
