had a falcoon and it had been sitting on my top section for ages ,didnt put it on hold, yeah yeah i know i should have. got rid of it and my mate got it back up to scratch, and took over the rego from that date of change of ownership,(was around 7 months.since it had expired) i got a letter with payment demand in 14 days of $180 for backpay, wan*ers but i knew i had to pay it,then a couple of weeks later a letter from d@b debt collection servicesDEBT COLLECTION,like friggren baycorp. yep it did make me pay pretty quick i must admit, but just a word of warning to everyone out there ,that this is the way these pr*cks are going now. rant over

Its worse than that mate, I deregistered my commodore last week and they made me pay $19.90 in backpay before they would do it! I even handed in both plates and the last license label.

Continuous licensing is just that. continuous
And if you dont pay your bills the debt collector comes and takes your stuff

Not to bad, that pretty minor there is no way of getting outing of the continous licence system. So even if you have an expired rego your still registered has when you pay it will get backdated. But sure is a pain in the butt at times.
