Same thing happened to me,I was realy pissed when the guy that bought my VL told me he had written it off,was such a good car to me.

I reckon it was rust damage as a result of exposure to salt water during the photo shoot.The seller didn't take all due care and responsibility by exposing my car to a corrosive environment.I think he should refund me in full and I'll give him back his rusty POS.If he does that I won't proceed with my civil action about selling a car to me knowing that it had been exposed to salt air.

Sold my 1st car to a young guy, he stuffed it into a ditch on his way home! Not as bad as the guy I sold a $500 telstar to tho, gave me the money, backed out the drive, and sideswiped the big jumbo bin and peeled the l/r quarter of the car right open. No, didnt give him his money back. Thank goodness it wasnt on the test drive!
