ive just bought a 1997 xtz 660 tenere.Its to high geared i want to know the sproket size its not in the work shop manaul.

46 tooth is the stock rear sprocket. Altering the gearing may be detrimental to the performance. What revs compared to redline is the bike doing at 100km/h in top gear!

yep sorted now should be running 46 rear and 15 front

no factory sprokets for this bike are 15 front and 45 rear
