I have brought a 1990 Toyota corolla. It is perfect, but when I am driving on the motor way, with betty going around 85-90km/ph it starts to jolt a little bit. Jolt may be the wrong word, but that's the best i can think of to describe it. It tends to maybe rock against what way i am going. ! It was taking 91 gas, and i put 95 in it. Could this be what is causing it! Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first car. Thanks heaps.

Sounds like spark plugs may be breaking down, does it do it any other time, what engine and what km's, manual or auto,

Move to the right a bit, those are pedestrians causing the jolting.

1300, auto, 50,000kms (true story. only one elderly lady owned it) i took it out today, on the motorway. didn't do it. not sure if i should be worried or not!

Depending on where, it probably wouldn't matter. On a serious note ; Sounds like it might just need a good blow-out - And if it's stopped, that might have happened, so give it some more.

Hey look the jolt may be a condenser (i hope its not Diesel) or even I have seen a loose wire on the ballast resister do this.

I seen a car once with a jerk every time it stopped, but the jerk got out.
