I was in st lukes shopping centre today with a buyer for my car and after he exited the bank, he insisted that we change ownership first before handing over payment. Since his English was poor, I thought it might be a cultural thing and since I saw him in the bank getting the money out, I agreed. After changing ownership, he handed over the money which has $100 short of agreed price. I said I won't sell it for $100 less at which he said he had no more money. I said we need to change ownership back to me then and the deals off. After a stalemate, he then reached into his pocket and gave me the last $100. Cheeky bugger.

Different culture,be careful! Same thing happened to me. Sold a watch, he did not like it so I said send it back and I will give you your money back. He wanted money first so I put it into his account. Took me 5 weeks to get the watch back, I told him I was giving all info to Police, it turned up after that.
