just got me car back from the panel beaters and at highway speed it has a mean hum coming from what I'm guessing is the front diff.! maybe. does anyone know much about them, what to look out for or check! cheers guys

I brought an Avalanche about a year ago and it had a noise when you drove at hiway speed from left back but it had odd tread tyres so put a new set right round noise gone also check tyre pressures and alinement they would be the first things I would do.

Yeah i guess it could have something to do with it. I've noticed that I have 1 new tyre on the front. Not matched with the other side. A wheel alignment has just been done.
