what engine and chassis prefix! 1996 is the changeover year. could be the earlier N23W shape or the later N73W etc.

Yep. That's the early shape with the SOHC 4G93 1.8L engine, auto transmission, FWD. The 1.8L SOHC Libero and NZ-new SOHC 1.8 Lancer will have the same throttlebody.
