Have an SR18de in a '94 bluebird SSS that idles at 1500rpm for the first 10 minutes of it warming up. Think I remember these do this because of a dodgy coolant temp sensor, or dodgy airflow meter! I have an SR18Di to steal bits off this weekend, so any input as to what the cause of the problem might be would be appreciated

i thought most injected cars did that until they started to heat up a bit.

Yeah most do, I just think 1500rpm for 10 minutes is a bit much.

See if the thermostat is jammed open.
