both cams turning, no compression, are they an interference engine,!,
daughter tells me it had a squeak for a couple of days and then it stopped, thinking idler had a wee seize and its jumped a few teeth on the crank end of the cambelt , still hoping I may get away with replace idlers and cambelt, re-time and it'll go, save on cost and effort to pull head - gaskets, valves etc and time but if it's an interference the heads going to have to come off

bugga, the valves are straight above the slugs so chances are the slugs will be severely bruised too and need replacing, new engine time if thats the case
