Just got a ring from my mate, asking if I was somewhere about Waihi. Told him I was about to get up and pass some "he wai" He said it was probably a good call as the weather wasn't too crash hot. Had checked the diff oil in the Mustang on Thurs and didn't like the look of it, so a change with some good additive, and a new gasket to finally stop the leak is the best option before another long drive.

Just got home. The weather was drizzling on and off on Saturday with the odd shower thrown in for good measure. Sunday was a great day with no rain and still plenty of beautiful cars running about. Was still a great weekend and any petrolhead that didnt go because off thew weather is a softcock lol. cheers stevo

I'm glad we didn't go this year lol!
We have a 67 Chev Impala convertible and it leaks like a flippen sieve when it rains hard!Both times we've been up to BH its rained on the way and I've spent a lot of my time holding towels up to the holes lol!The husband really wants to get the whole roof redone and get some new rubbers for the windows but they're so not cheap and we never get around to it. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get stuff for a 67!Damned hard lol!

Was a great week.Noddy was driving the truck and it happened at 7am.we dont go because of the weather we go to see the cars and feel the excitment and the rain did not stop that.All those guys put so much into their cars and some still have a lot to do.the car that won over all was called cherry bomb.I did not get to see the finals.and there was 1100 cars plus entered not to mention the ones that were just there so I dont remember it.it was good to see the caravan and boat part.We have a ford bull nose transit 1975-1980 we thought we might do up Lol.Kept walking around looking at people and wondering if they were TMB chatters should of had a tent just for us.
