Mohmad brought this car for $2,500 (car not running to well, loads of problems and can be driven away) and now he is selling for $5,800.

Assuming he has done nothing to it as he allowed me to take it for a pre purchase inspection at the testing station. As i am in a different city i had asked multiple times about potential problems that would hinder me purchasing this vehicle. inspection came back terrible, as he would have known. he also lied and said vehicle had been in his family for years, but infact the VIR report had him as the owner for 3 weeks. today i did a bit of snoopiong and found in his feed back he had in fact purchased the vehicle as per above description (bd condition mechanically) a few weeks ago. my fault for not snooping before wasting$145 on an inspection. but just thought people need warning about this lying man!

zirconium, Mar 28, 8:41am
Hi, sounds like it was $145 well spent to me.

afer_daily, Mar 28, 8:42am
But you would have felt worse if you hadnt done a checkand bought it and then found out it a pickapart protoge

40wav, Mar 28, 8:44am
Nice one Columbo. Why would you assume he has done nothing to it! Perhaps he is a mechanic and has fixed the problems so that it now runs well. What did your inspection show!

Time to do some research about decent 4x4's to buy and avoid ending up with a timebomb, one of those diesel Wizards is the absolute last vehicle you want to get stuck with. They were the subject of several recalls and the engine basically is an abortion of a design that shouldn't have been produced.Have you budgeted another $10K for repairs on top of the $5800 you were going to pay now!I have had customers in tears when yet something else goes wrong and they have to shell out yet more cash to keep the thing running, including one poor woman who had the steering rackhydraulics literally explode on her on the highway. They are a sick joke and should all be sent back to where they came from, squashed and welded together and used as a dam to help keep tsunamis out.Be warned.

Why on earth anyone would even concider buying of someone called Mohamed is completely beyond me!

40wav, Mar 28, 12:09pm
When you put it like that, you'd have to half expect it to blow up, wouldn't you!

sr2, Mar 28, 1:39pm
Let me guess, Mohmad is a regular at the Ellerslie car fair!

socram, Mar 28, 2:01pm
"mohmad" doesn't exist on TM anyway.

skin1235, Mar 28, 4:45pm

haha isuzu wizzard is bigest piece of crap ever!

fordluva, Mar 28, 7:37pm
never assume what the mechanic suggested is gospel, I bought a primera to run around in a while ago, basically I got the car pretty cheap because a mechanic told the seller the water pump was leaking and because it was a mission of a job she was looking at $500 upwards to replace, I figured Id buy it and have a go myself, but after looking over the cooling system I noticed it wasnt using much water at all, and that there were rust marks and a damp trailaround the radiator cap took it off to find the seal was buggered, $15 for a new cap and it never leaked a drop after that.

bash, Mar 29, 9:05am

tigra, Mar 29, 10:56am
mohmad is tipo.Italian Indian!

tigra, Mar 29, 11:00am
Of course the claim tyhat it had been in the family for a long time when he had actually only owned it for a few weeks would be enough to kill the auction anyway.OP hope you have reported this to TM.

I thought people by this name were the ones that are busy trying to kill us in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in planes and trains around the world.

So. maybe this vehicle will be a "bomb" in more ways than one.

kwkbrk, Mar 29, 12:54pm
Poor form. Bet you`d sell him a car without any such concern.

tgray, Mar 29, 1:01pm
I'm surprised trademe hasn't pulled this thread.
It appears your breaking trademe rules publicly vilifying a fellow member on here.

bjmh, Mar 29, 1:45pm
As a mechanic of 40 odd years i'm still amazed at the crap people buy, then proceed to ask me what i think of their new purchase.too late.do your homework ,before you buy.the A.A do good pre-purchase inspections, they are not cheap.but money well spent. Caveat emptor.

socram, Mar 29, 2:00pm
Two points guys."mohmad" is no longer listed on TradeMe (so you can abuse him as much as you like!) and secondly, I think some are confusing "mohmad" with "mohammed" - or any of its variations.

kandjaja, Mar 29, 2:03pm
She's a 3 litre job with the dreaded 4jx1 engine too.oh dear.

tgray, Mar 29, 4:07pm
This whole thread is not about being ripped off in buying a dud car, but about not being happy with a pre purchase inspection. Mmnn.

rob_man, Mar 29, 8:18pm
And some of the spelling is atrocious, I'm sure a lot of Mohammeds could do better.
