just put one in the rubish bin had sat radio tv all in one . and installed a standard radio with a blanking plate to cover extra space.

no you can't. the GPS sytems in nz and japan are TOTALLY different.it's like the difference between satellite TV and good old UHF terrestrail tv.go an buy yourself a new stereo with integrated gps if you really want it.

cool bananas, was just wondering. only got the car today so just trying to figure out whats what. I dont think I can remove it as its got the built in reversing camera in it. :)

many of the aftermarket stereos with integrated GPS also have a backing camera input that will work with your existing camera.you just have to ask your self whether you want to spend 300 or so for a tom tom or navman and keep your old stereo or spend $700 on getting an integrated one fitted.
