unique by doing the same thing as every other person trying to be 'unique'!

there aren't exactly many Gti-R's with aftermarket head or tail lights though is there!

Ive just had a look through trademe and guess how many standard GTi-R I found, NONE. All had wank stuff added in attempt to be 'unique' but they are all the same - mags, bore, pod, stickers, pedals, tail lights etc and they all look cheap and shitty.
The GTi-R will be a classic, I predict that now but only the ones which resemble a standard car will, the others are just ruined completely.

suit yourself, I don't care in the end but it would be nice to see a stock one around. They look great as standard

braxton do lights for them.
but i agree with other posters, too many of these things are "blinged up" and look stupid, a standard one would be unique as you dont see them any more

who are you kidding
they are one of the most Rice cars the japs have ever released.
theres a reason they attract guys who mod them the way they do

the reason is 206kw on a small car,and i dont consider them "riced", the bonnet which is the most differant to other pulsars serves a very good purpose when the top mount intercooler is still around

who cares if the RICER bonnet serves a good purpose or not
that & the stupid rear wing attract jap RICER fans more than any other. besides they (the 3 door hatch)are a lemon platform to be adding the 4wd attesa system too. ends up being the same horrid front end weight bias as the FWD hatch
"but, but . . . . . . . they look so fast & cool !"

I may have to correct you there; I raced one for a while some years back and still consider it to be a superbly balance car despite big HP we were pulling from it. That rather oversized rear wing makes a noticeable difference to stability over 200K, we did some testing with it at Pukekohe and despite the drag always ran with it on. Problem areas were gearboxes, (we eventually ran an Xtrac), flex in the front chassis rails and woefully inadequate front brakes (we upgraded to AP??
