A must see, I think

Yeah - beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.

I wouldn't personally spend $40K on customising something only to sell it, but maybe his circumstances have changed.

Ouch, must be hard seeing all those receipts laid over the floor to realise you destroyed the original purpose of the vehicle and you're not quite as gangster as you think you are.

Could have bought himself a rental property for that amount of money, probably won't get the 17k so will probably end up throwing away 25k. On the other hand it looks like a pretty smart job of one of these things.

whats the point of a ute if half of the deck is cut out

jmma, Jan 28, 1:26am
Photo #9That shows to me how much work went into this,
Didn't want bagging the owner or the ute, just talk about whats been done and how much effort.
As I said I don't like these things, but the outcome of this one really looks good.

I can only see one good thing about owning that.
And that's hopefully I would be able to sell it for something.

easygoer, Jan 28, 2:19am
The reason they spend all that money on these types of vehicles then attempt to sell them is because they turn them into an unreliable, undriveable heap of junk and the only way out is to ditch it, the fact it isn't finished and they are looking to swap it is a give away

shazza541, Jan 28, 2:33am
the subheading of the ad is VTNZ wof, cert, reg, so i dont see how you can say it isnt finished

granada, Jan 28, 2:39am
It doesnt have carpets so its not finished

bjdw, Jan 28, 2:49am
It's a toy. It's made for entertainment, not functionality.

Take an old povo spec utility vehicle with a quarter million kays on the dial, spend forty grand to half finish "customising" it.

Try to sell for 17 grand.

Yup.
