Just noticed your username spent a lot of time and money there when I was in the navy, is the place still standing! www.basis may help you.

Thanks, have just sent an email to them to see what they stock.
The old British still stands. But is in bad shape and may come down.
Hasnt been the British for a few years as the last owners walked away and the liquor licence was taken off, so can never be the British again.
I still have the signed flag and cap from the last crew of the Canterbury Frigate given to us on the last port of call there.

I work in the port now and pass the it 6 days out of 7. I think it will be demolished as it can never be a hotel again.

Going way, WAY, back in history, Tony Butler Auto Spares used to have a huge selection of auto rubber.

Good luck, they were a good car.

Is it a moulded fully formed circle if rubber or is it one with a join in it somewhere. Some of the older cars had what was known as a Clayton rubber sealing system. It came in a big roll, you cutoff the desired length and fitted it then put an insert into a groove on the outside to tighten it up. I feel that 1961 was a bit like that, some models had a chrome beading over that insert. Clayton type rubber system should be available via most major auto glass companies.
