Yeah, I had a look Friday afternoon, what a pile of junk. He should have focused on one vehicle and fixed that up instead of buying so much crap. So much want for the Prince Skyline GT. The Isuzu Bellet GT is quite tidy inside, but needs less rust, paint & panel. The 924 looked good in the photos, but then I saw the spare engine in the hatch, LHD, and it was scruffy inside. I reckon for all of the other stuff, if you could identify it, you ought to have been given it, and the rest should be dumped .

I went yesterday, saw it is an XB (definitely not XA taillights) six cylinder, floor change manual. Multi coloured panels under the hood, floor change did not appear factory (no console, stick jutting up in front of bench seat), so it's been bodged like most of the other cars there, but it appeared to be reasonably straight.

Anyone tell us how it went!

Have heard a little about it. Cheapest sold was the Mk4 Cortina for $400 & dearest was the Merc for around $22k. One buyer was stoked he got car he wanted (Datsun 1200 coupe I think it was) for $4k as he had allowed himself to spend $8k. The early Skyline had a story behind it as well, the new owner having to fork out $3.5k to own - even though apparently he bought it via here apparently for $6k - turns out it had been stolen from the property & advertised on trademe. The Police returned it back to the shed & he had to buy it again.he sat on car all day telling people the story & how he wanted to own it. He was the lucky one but had to bid for it.

No, will ask but I'm sure I remember getting told it went for more.$9k springs to mind, could be wrong. But its worth all of that - if not twice as much.

the Bellet coupe and the Saab [prob a V4 model!] look great - but rarest would be the autobianchi A112

Bellet coupe did go in the 8-9k region (+15% buyers premium)

I did end up going out that MK4 Cortina was shagged hope the new owner checks out the motor well before he tries to start it massive hole in sump and no dissy cap or leads, both taillights and front indcators lens broken and it had the worst modifaction that anyone could do in the 80,s it had a popup sunroof or as my father use to say about them " a depreciation kit installed ""
