Interested in helping me compare 3 series bmws?

The hatchback and sedan aren't really the same car - the hatch has the rear suspension setup from the previous generation 3 series and a (in my opinion) significantly worse interior. For this reason I'd prefer the sedan, especially with the 6 cylinder engine.

On the other hand that sedan look pretty rough to me so I'd be wary of that particular one

Wow they go for nothing these days. not that I would touch any of them, but I am surprised how (relatively) cheap they are now.

an E36 Msport Coupe would be a good choice, these have a better suspension setup then the Sedans and have nicer seats.
the 318Tis are very basic and not worth having in my opinion.
Ideally go for an NZNEW car with some service history if you can.
Cooling systems seem to be the biggest issue with these cars, when you get one, replace the plastic thermostat housing, thermostat, plastic header tank, hoses, the small amount spent on these things will save you cooking the engine.
I just did this with my E39 528i I purchased recently, can jump in it and drive anywhere now without having to really worry since the weak points have been addressed.

^ I 2nd that. With ANY BMW you buy, unless there is proof it's been done, you'd be a fool to not do this work
