The union wants "a good social plan".Clearly that's far more important than efficient production, which could ensure that their jobs remain.

i have a fair idea what the problem is in switzerland the mercedes plant also shut down for good. Years ago now ,they all work bakwards. workers come to work to collect wages and not to be productive and steal everything thats not tied down. and parts are simply not there to make vehicles total missmangment from top to bottom That would be whats about going on at that plant also. (never met expectations) say no more. unions are a cancer for any company thats another problem.
