Right i got one last client that is allowed to bring his heap to my workshop. Now here is the thing i was amazed the pile of crap still runs. Tells me it needs a oilchange and its overheating and then when i pick it up he also tells me it stoped on him just like that, done it in winter and once a week ago.
Right i drive home stoped on me 3 times lol.
got home open the bonnet to see if is losing fluidsviscous fan thinking maybe its faulty and its got aircon turn on aircon to see if more fans are hidden somwhere. low and behold the whole viscouse fan started to stop and go with the aircon compressor puting up more resistance.
Now that is already why it overheats its got a broken main crank harmonic balancer. but it still dont explains why it stoped 3 times its mechanical 4m40 diesel so only 1 wire to cut fuel at injector pump.
Either its got a electric fault or it also sucks air on the injector pump seals or somwhere else . My guess is the seals have damaged from ulsd Fuel and no additives as it ran fine when i did keep the rpm above 2000 the rest of the way. Wont even do a oil change for now as the bill will be sure past a grand for them 2 things to repair.

one thing is to be added thes 2 problems happen to any diesel also toyota hilux do the same thing . I replaced harmonic balancers on them also mitsubishi seem to just have 100 of small problems but always so they go at times and then not again just so you never know if you have to walk or if you get there that is the typical mitsubishi problem that gives them the bad name.

i offerd him to buy my hilux now with his tyres from the delica for 2500$ as it be at least 1500$ for new seals on his injector pump plus a other harminic balancer .

Just think of the $$ you will make out of fixing it .Garages would go out of business if cars didnt break down .

If you were as good at English as you seem to think you are with cars, you would be great at teaching mechanics.
