Just use a diff oil or they have outboard gearbox oil at supercheap in one ltr bottles.Make sure its completely full to the top of the input screw

i think grade c was the equivalent of 90, which is pretty much stand gear oil. Fill with outboard in upright position to top bung. This allows a small amount of room for expansion (aeration of oil) overfilling may pressurize and blow the bottom seals

Well it was a freebiegearlinkage had seizedfixed it already,just on a runabout forin shore fishing . Its a 7240hpbeen stored for 10 yearsfired upgood o,better made than the suzuki90 POS ihad on last boat.

^^ got new impelleryet old 1 still looked Okno t statmentioned in themanual .heaps of new parts still available ex USAwhich is more than could be said for 20 yer old suzuki- couldnt get anything

make sure you fill from the bottom not from the top or you can get a air lock and blow gear box
