any great ideas how to get rid of a smell inside the car!,,,just acquired a car with odd smell.nothing strange in the car.keen to hear if anyone has a smell neutralising method.thanks.

Wurth`s have a spray can, which you spray into air conditioning inlets, with Air con switched on low, leave running for a while, it neutralizes smells, and also kills bacteria in the system, particularly good for vehicles that have had smokers driving them.

Do the sniff test on the floor mats. That's where I find most smells.

That Wurth product is awesome (like most of their stuff) i inherited a work ute that had a smell that could kill, I think it was a mixture of feet, breath, smoke, jizz, arse, rancid milk, chunder, wimmins areas,one squirt of that stuff did the business.

Here is what you do
-Roll down all the windows on a dry day in a nice open area like your driveway -Open all the vents in the car and set the heater on, I'll explain this in a minute -Turn the car on and select drive or first gear if you have a manual. -Set off applying pressure to the brake as to allow the drive wheels to rotate while the car is standing still -Increase speed, try selecting higher gears dropping back if the car bogs down -Allow the vaporized tyre to fill the cabin, the heater being on may aid in keeping the car cooler if your cooling system is inadequate for long durations of this procedure -Proceed until rapid tyre deflation or engine begins to heat beyond reasonable levels
This will cure any smell, I vouch for this method
