I couldn't care less if you keep up or not, getting in my way and holding me up is a different matter.
Isn't that the other thread!

Cutting corners and drifting from lane to lane is plain poor driving and laziness.

rob_man, Feb 21, 8:10am
I guess some people are just wired differently to others. There are those who think there is some sort of moral high ground to be gained by making their lives more difficult than they need to be and that anybody who makes simple economies is to be considered lazy.

johnf_456, Feb 21, 8:46am
Its about safety at the end of the day rob_man

rob_man, Feb 21, 10:18am
A balance between efficiency and safety is the goal, sacrificing efficiency for the sake of imaginary safety doesn't make sense to me. It's like ducking every time you go through a doorway just in case you bang your head on the lintel when it's plainly obvious you're not tall enough for that to happen and then growling at someone who walks straight through.

pollymay, Feb 21, 10:19am
I feel the same

planespotterhvn, Feb 21, 10:58am
Whiping out cyclists on the blind left handers and having head ons on blind right handers can' t be called safe or efficient.

richardmayes, Feb 21, 11:09am
I don't think anyone is trying to advocate that it's safe to cut BLIND corners.

sifty, Feb 21, 11:29am
idiots are.

michael.benn, Feb 21, 11:42am
Agree. I generally won't and don't make a habit of cutting corners, but I see your point.

I'm 6'5". so I generally duck going through most doorways, lol.

Bit like using indicators when turning in to your own driveway thats in the middle of a 500 meter stretch of road with no gates /side roads or any other form of exit/entrance AND it's 2AM in the morning (with no moon showing) & your lights are on high beam

ha, I do that.

not a bad habit I suppose

richynuts, Feb 21, 4:10pm
Its $150 fine for crossing centre line on a corner, I was passenger in my boss's car when he countinuously did this all the way to Queenstown then on the way back I was dreading the trip home when 20 min out of Queenstown hewas pulled over for doing this $150 instant fine. Ha ha I thought!

midsta, Feb 21, 4:35pm
The Police officer that did this in front of me has been offered 'advice' apparently. I would have thought a fine would be more appropriate.

pollymay, Feb 21, 5:35pm
Do you feel special now! I'll lay down a big 11 either side of a centreline just for you
