Citron light 15 maybe!

Wheel Ford Prefect, cover Ford Pilot!

Yep you bring back memories of the 1950's English Fords right there. I reckon you are on the money, I didn't give them a thought actually. 500-5.25 x 16 sounds Ford Popular or Prefect.ish for sure!

a bit like the pilot but I think the pilot had v8 on the chrome with the 8 on top of the v

wheel rim looks a bit like a vw bug

I'm inclined toward 35-36 Ford .

The small tyre has me thinking, but, could possibly been used on a trailer.

Maybe mid to late 40's vauxhall 10 or 12!

Thanks for all your info, I am actually interested in finding out about the wheel cover not the wheel, the cover will go up for sale when I am more confident as to how to advertise it, Thanks again and keep the info coming

Take a look at the wheel on this.

It also has 12 slots, and I suspect, the same PCD.

Prefects also had 5 inch tyres.

It may well be, the cover comes off an earlier Anglia/Prefect!

Up to 1948, Anglias all had the cover on the back.

Good luck.
