Ok, you see one of your bucket list cars listed - looks good, its 500Km from home - theres no phone number / youve got cash in your pocket / you would take it no questions asked
BUT!
Its a classified - you email, you email again - you hunt thru old listings / feedback / praying for a contact # - hell you even google their username in the dim hope they might have asked a Q on someones auction & left a worded cell #!
Then - sure enough a few days later the listing is withdrawn - sold I guess
It feels like someone just took a crowbar & rammed it thru my chest
Im sick of classifieds & dont understand how you can legally upload one without at least some kind of contact number

It was a nice looking Mk2 Zephyr - I bought a PA Vauxhall to try & quash the endless search for a good Mk2 but it reared its ugly head last week - to the point of driving to the Nelson region & showing people photo's & asking "Have you seen this car"
This no phone # system is flawed IMHO

ahh, the old PA's. Owned several of them over the years. used to have a thing about them and Mk4 zeph/zodiacs.
re Mk2, Bummer. another will pop up on trademe. Just got to wait it out as frustrating as that can be. But I do know the feeling. Been there before.:-(

nope, used to work with him.very odd man indeed lol. Could tell you some stories! He had one also parked up at his other house just along the road from work - think its dissapeared now, heard he sold that house (if you could call it that) - pa must be back at wilsons rd

I agree with the classifieds being annoying without a phone number, was a rather nice old 1989 RS legacy in Nelson I wanted, it had late 90's WRX engine, turbo, gearbox, diff, etc, but looked totally stock and original looking with 120,000ks on the clock. but the guy never replied to my emails, 2 weeks later, listing expired, didn't come back on, doh.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
