Professional tight-@rse. There's no way I'll pay a professional to do a job that I can do, given access to the right tools and information.I even do things like stitched up (with needle and thread) an accidental deep stab-wound in the hand I gave myself at 2am whilst in a remote country town, after the only GP within 100km wouldn't answer his phone or door bell. Very occasionally I need to put tail between legs to seek help, but managed to become ancient and able-bodied without too much trouble so far.

It's very cool, I have access to things most people will never see, and can handle things most can't (e.g. 1 of only 23 New Zealand Crosses ever awarded, it gives me chills each time I do!)

Ditto. I'm a "coach painter" lol, by trade.
But, my job involves a lot of panel work too as well. The only sheet metal panel work I wont attempt is a heat shrink.
I quite enjoy the r/r parts, of panel work.
I especially like it when I hear the panelbeater cussing and swearing over how to remove something, and walk up and show them. hahaha.

Bar manager. Great way to meet women and there are some pretty amazing cars that turn up. One of the regulars has a real GT40 in his vast collection. Plenty of race cars and drivers too. Theres always something cool and different in the car park. One of the other regulars has a McRae GM1-009 Formula 5000 and a Lola in his collection.
