well one way to find out is when yo get supagas.co.nz to fill em if they fill it without testing then they where fine .

intrade, Feb 25, 1:14pm
i think poster 2 is wrong as i got acetilen dx filled that where due to expire just before i filled them and my argon has stamped 05.2003 on it so its 10 years from that date yours will need retesting in 5 years but in any case just get em filled supagas test em and charge you extra for testing if the need testing. and stamp date of testing on em.

Happy to be corrected, still think it's the expiry date.

Ours is stamped 2006 / 09 . Which is September 06.

We just had it filled by BOC in December 2011.

LOL . ok

The testing is all spose to be done with the same quality of test, but in reality, non flammable & low pressure cylinders will be passed a little easier then high pressure & flammable gas's
