Not really no, my days of riding with a haversack of various tools, nuts, bolts, bulbs, assorted pieces of wire etc slung over my shoulder are over lol

I recall you mentioning your Suzuki recently broke down on the Gentle Annie road between Taihape & Napier and you required assistance.
Perhaps you should replace that jappa with a more reliable bike (ie Harley) or resort to carrying a bag of tools if venturing further than the end of the driveway!

No no no no no mate, you weren't listening were you, I don't remember saying that 'the bike broke down', what I did say is the 'battery failed' remember .stopped for a smoke, pressed start button, nothing, remember now . the Suzuki was just fine, she just needed a jump start and we were away.

Alright alright, technically it is still a breakdown, but it wasn't the bike what broke !

Have taken steps to prevent a re-occurrence, check second to last trade.

And I unreservedly apologise for making sarky remarks about de-sulphated batteries and promise not to do it again, and then hopefully I won't have any more of these unjustified attacks on here.

PSI should have known better than to have inserted sarky remarks into a motoring thread with 'Triumph' in the thread header. I thought I would get away with it, I knew BSA would be out of bounds, but not the trumpets, I know now tho lol

PPSYou should be attacking the OP for calling the Bonneville a bonniville . that's gotta be true sacrilege eh lol
