Hi.was wondering if anyone out there can help my husband.He has a Lanz Bulldog,he reckons around 1940 and wants to know the original colour.Here are some details he has given me. PS 25.Tractor number 116598,he not sure if it model L or N.

I had a bit to do with one back in 75 and it was originally a pastel Sky Blue. Have you had it running!

Seen the green ones, maybe if you scratch around in the hard to get at places some of the original paint may still be visable

Yes.he's had it going.says it has been sand blasted by previous owner.so not any places to scratch to find original colour
these tractors should be a light to mid blue with red wheels if its post war. The pre war ones I think were more greyish but not sure( pre war had funnel shape muffler and post were straight sided.) Only the very late model tractors were green, after they were bought by John Deere. I have picture of my fathers and my neighbours model N and neither have been painted

That makes it a model 25 horsepower model L, made in 1936/7. SHould be a dark greay colour with red wheels.
