It appears to me the better option may be to flag Saturday and go as a seller on Sunday with $15 admission for site + seller

i went to go last year ,the place was a mud bath. There were only about a dozen tents left .We offered to pay half price entry due to the lack of sellers, but were told full price or bugger off .So we buggered off ,wasnt worth gettin my boots dirty for.
Used to be one of the best swap meets out of all of them. Not now though. As others have said its way to pricey and its almost always accopanied by bad weather and droves of crafts and homeware etc.jam or knitted socks anyone.

Yep, that's about it these days. Those stalls seem to out number the auto parts.

Might full the station wagon up with parts and head out Sunday morning if the weather is good

Was thinking of heading off REAL early to the Southwards open day, like up at 2am early.
Or go to Bellagio's then Pukekohe!
Weather's maent to be pretty good up here tomorrow, and not so flash down Paraparaumu.

Didn't end up going, did anybody go!

Yeah I went, left after an hour.
I really don't get it. Perfect day, the perfect venue for it (I think anyway) and no bastard shows up. What gives! It could've been spectacular. Cars were leaving almost as quick as they were arriving. There were twice as many cars at Bellagio's.

we just got back, more sellers than buyers. As said before, great day for it. We sold heaps only because it was a case of we HAD to get rid of heaps & didnt want to take much home so priced accordingly. But seriously if we want these events to continue they have to be supported more
